Donations
Donations to the Library
There are many ways to give to the Colusa County Free Library, you can choose which works best for you!
MONETARY GIFTS
The Colusa County Free Library accepts monetary donations in the form of bequests, endowments, memorials, planned giving, trusts, and general financial donations; all donations are tax-deductible.
Monetary gifts may be used for Library materials, furniture, equipment or property, or to sponsor Library programs. The Library welcomes both unrestricted donations, as well as those with a purpose determined by the donor.
Contact Library Director, Stacey Costello, for information regarding monetary donations.
BOOKS and MATERIAL GIFTS
Book and materials donations must meet the following criteria:
- Materials must be in very good condition
- For books, we prefer popular fiction and nonfiction in hardcover, mass-market and trade paperbacks
- Any other material, including magazines, computer books, textbooks, encyclopedias, and damaged material will not be accepted by staff.
For book and materials donations, contact Circulation Manager, Lucinda Whittaker.
