Business Licenses
It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain, conduct, carry on, or commence to maintain, conduct or carry on within the county, and outside the limits of any incorporated city thereof, any business for which a license is required by Colusa County Code Chapter 10, without first having obtained a license to do so as provided in Chapter 10.
Licenses are valid from January 1st to December 31st each year. New licenses are due on January 1st and become delinquent on February 1st. Fees vary, please call office for details.
*Please note: 1) Worker’s Compensation Declaration, 2) Verification of Zoning and 3) Stormwater Drainage Compliance must be included with submission of Business License Application.

Any person violating any part of the provisions of Chapter 10 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
