Five Arrested in Several Search Warrants

 

For Immediate Release

           

February 3, 2017  8:00AM

 

On February 2, 2017, the Colusa County Task Force, combined with local law enforcement served several search warrants within Colusa County. The persons arrested were the following:

 

Joel Villanueva, 36, Arbuckle; Travis Weatherly, 26, Arbuckle; Samantha Allred, 19, Arbuckle; Vanessa Saavedra, 36, Arbuckle; Saul Carmona, 34, Arbuckle.

 

During the searches, the Task Force located methamphetamine, narcotic paraphernalia, and items indicative of sales.  A total of five children were turned over to the Colusa County Child Protective Services after drug endangered children cases were initiated.

 

After the conclusion of the search warrants, the Task Force made contact with Jose Orduna, 22, from Colusa, who was observed driving in the wrong direction on an Interstate 5 off-ramp in Arbuckle.  The Task Force located anabolic steroids and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle which led to Orduna’s arrest.
