Additionally, the annual award winner for participation in the Work Stretch Program was chosen. Colusa County employees participate in the Work Stretch Program that is designed to reduce work related strains, sprains and back injuries. Through a daily routine of low intensity exercises that address all the major muscle groups, our employees are doing their part to reduce workplace injuries and the high costs that accompany them.
In recognition for their effort, an annual award is presented to an employee who has consistently participated in the program throughout the year. This award is presented at the Employee Appreciation luncheon and the winner this year is Sharon Reische from the District Attorney’s office.
