Home Invasion Robbery

On July 9, 2019 at approximately 0400 hours, the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion robbery in the 2500 block of Davis Rd., Williams, CA.
The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office, Williams Police Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the residence. Upon arrival, law enforcement located the victim outside of the residence. Through the preliminary investigation, Colusa County Sheriff’s Office Detectives learned that the victim was assaulted and held at gunpoint by two unidentified males.
It was determined based on statements made by the suspects, to the victim, their intentions of being at the residence were related to the cultivation of marijuana. The victim has not cultivated marijuana for some time due to the current county ordinance related to outdoor marijuana cultivation. Investigators confirmed there was no marijuana being cultivated on the property.
The suspects fled the scene by unknown means after taking an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. At this time the suspects are unknown and outstanding. An extensive search of the areas was conducted with negative results.
