Property Taxes - COVID-19 Update:
Due to the current Covid-19 recommendations, we encourage property owners to pay property taxes via the drop box or mail rather than in person.
Secured Property Taxes Due April 10, 2020
We understand and share the public’s anxiety and concern about the impacts of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. However, Colusa County has no statutory authority to change the April 10 due date for the Second Installment of Property Taxes. These revenues provide funding for critical public services, such as emergency response, public health, schools and other local financial obligations.

Our office hours for property tax payments are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm should you wish to make your property tax payment(s) in person. Please enter the Historic Courthouse via the North (main) entrance.
Payments made by check, cashier’s check or money order can be dropped in the drop box located at the front entrance of the Historic Court House or mailed to 547 Market St, Suite 111, Colusa, CA 95932.
Hours of operation will remain in effect until further notice.
*** The 2nd installments for Current Secured Property Taxes were Due February 1st, 2020, delinquent after April 10th, 2020.
