[ARCHIVED] Two Special District Elections on November 8

Ballots for the Stonyford Recreation and Park District were mailed to voters on October 11. In this mail ballot election there are four candidates running for three seats. The Stonyford Recreation and Park District includes the Stonyford and Lodoga precincts in Colusa County and extends into a small section of Glenn County. The total number of registered voters is 328.

The Westside Water District will also be voting on Directors. This is a landowner election conducted by mail. Ballots were mailed to voters on October 11. There are four candidates running for three seats. According to records provided by the Westside Water District there are 93 voters.

Ballots must be received at the elections office by 8:00 p.m. on November 8 in order to be counted. Postmarked by that date alone will not count. Ballots may returned by first class mail, certified or registered mail, or hand delivered. The elections office will remain open on that day and will accept returned ballots up to 8:00 p.m.

Unofficial results will be available after 8:00 p.m. upon completion of ballot processing and will be posted to the website.
